Infinity Hair – My Review

What on Earth is Infinity Hair?

Infinity Hair is a unique product that offers a “20 second” solution to hair loss. Ever heard of spray-on tanning? It’s kinda like that, but three-dimensional, and for hair. Sound crazy? Keep reading to learn more!

From their website:

Infinity Hair Fibers are a cosmetic solution that addresses hair loss instantly.

It is created through the Nano Fiber Technology, that makes these fibers electrostatically charged and once this product is applied to your problem areas, they effectively adhere to your existing hair and gives you an appearance of a thick, healthy and shiny looking hair.

How Do You Use It?

Infinity Hair is applied directly to the scalp on a dry head, after your hair is styled (they don’t advise adding it before curling iron or flat iron applications).

You can then “fill in the gaps” with the infinity hair, as a finishing touch. Like you’re sculpting. It’s literally a 3-D hair substitute product.

You may use hairspray on the Infinity Hair fibers after applying them to your scalp. It’s great that these fibers can be styled along with your regular hair.

How Long Does It Last?

Infinity Hair stays on your head for a few days, until you’re ready to shampoo it out.

This is good news for women trying to shampoo infrequently or for people who want to preserve a certain hairstyle for a couple of days.

What’s In It?

Infinity Hair is made out of keratin fibers, which is the same material that makes up our hair, skin, and nails.

The ingredients list also shows rayon (which is a kind of fabric) and various dyes to approximate the hair colors. The dyes vary based on the color you order.

robot hairThis sounds weird, like something out of a Science Fiction movie…is it SAFE?

Oddly enough, the consensus seems to be YES. This is how the manufacturer describes it:

Because Infinity Hair Fibers products are made out of high-quality and all organic keratin protein fibers, the makers of this product ensure that it will not cause any adverse effects, unlike other methods. It is guaranteed to be safe, free from any form of drugs, will not dry or irritate your scalp and will definitely not clog your pores.

Infinity Hair Fibers adhere to your scalp, and the maker says it’s sturdy enough to stay on your head through windstorms and heavy rains.

Also, the color from the dye won’t bleed onto your clothes if you get caught in the rain.

Does It Work?

Amazingly, people say YES. I was skeptical after learning about this product, just because it seemed so odd to me. 3-D hair fibers you sculpt directly to your scalp? Really??

But, I’ve read hundreds of reviews looking for critical information, and it’s certainly out there, but amidst a sea of praise.

The most consistent positive comment is that people feel more confident when using this product.

And that it takes some getting used to, but it’s easy to use once you get the hang of it. The outlandish claim that it’s a 20-second solution to hair loss is mostly reflected to be TRUE based on the user experiences.

Here is a typical positive review from a female user of Infinity Hair Fibers:

Any Cons?

  • Some users say if you have a “sweaty head“, you can experience some fiber clumping.
  • Some users have also expressed an interest in a wider color range.
  • If you dye your hair, you need to order the shade that’s closest in color to your roots, because the product will be applied directly to your scalp  – this could theoretically create more contrast with the dye job.
  • Infinity Hair is only for the scalp, not the face or body.

Who Is It For?

Infinity Hair is engineered for both men and women experiencing hair loss. The product line has a wide range of colors to accommodate customers.

Infinity works on all hair types, fine to coarse, short to long, and on colored, highlighted or permed hair. You aren’t restricted by any of these conditions, unlike with some other products only for undyed or untreated hair.

Parting Thoughts:

Infinity Hair is a cosmetic solution to a mostly cosmetic problem.

seaside hairWhile this blog advocates for, and has discussed both holistic and natural solutions, as well as the industry standard biochemical solutions, this product gives me a pause…because it is a really interesting approach to the problem.

I think Infinity Hair is a great product to try out for women who know the cause of their hair loss is temporary, ie, women who are pregnant, going through menopause, going through chemotherapy, or even women recovering from a medical procedure where part of their hair had to be shaved.

I also think it could be a good choice for women who want to simply and easily fill in conspicuous bald spots.

For women who have lost most of their hair or have very large bald spots without any hair, I personally think that a wig would be a better choice, because this product is clearly more intended as a “filler” than a brand new, replacement head of hair.

That said, most of us start looking for hair loss solutions WELL before we’ve lost all of our hair, and because of that, Infinity Hair is a relevant and promising possible solution.

Since it’s priced so low, and because Infinity Hair has such surprisingly positive feedback, I think it’s worth a shot.

Infinity Hair is definitely worth trying if your hair loss shows up more like small spotting or thinning than large areas of hair loss.

For those with temporary hair loss, small spotting or general thinning, I think this product could be a major asset and confidence booster.

Thanks for reading. Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts, questions, or experiences with Infinity Hair – I’d really love to hear from anyone who’s tried this.

  1. Hi, I never knew this product existed. It is a very reasonable price and sounds great for someone who is concerned from a cosmetic viewpoint. I have a friend who is conscious of losing her hair (although it may be due to stress). I will let her know about this product to see if it is something she may be interested in.
    Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi and thank you for the positive feedback! Hopefully it is a viable option for your friend, especially if her hair loss is temporary (if stress is the cause, it likely is). This could help her out in the meantime, while she learns to deal with the root cause, which would be minimizing the stress in her life.

  2. Really interesting product! I recently had a small…altercation with a vehicle and had to have a section of my hair shaved for stitches. It’s all healed now but my hair is growing back REALLY slowly and I’m getting tired of wearing hats. Do you think I could use this to fill out my patch until it grows to a decent length?

    Thank you!

    • Hi Shirley! Wow, I had never even thought about the very real hair loss due to shaving for surgery or stitches, thanks for bringing that up and sharing your experience!

In this case, I’d say heck yeah, definitely give it a shot on your patch that’s regrowing. It sounds like Infinity Hair could really help and get you hat-free in the interim, and that a cosmetic solution is actually MOST appropriate for you given the cause of your hair loss.

thanks again and best of luck,

  3. I’ve never heard of this product before! There’s so many neat hair products out there. It sounds like it’s mostly used for thinning hair…. do you know if it would help fine hair appear thicker? Or does it mostly just work on the scalp area? And I like your page on natural remedies for hair loss – I’ve been using essential oils on my hair for the last few months and I’ve noticed my hair has been growing super fast! So it works 🙂

    • Isn’t it crazy? I’d never heard of this product either, but basically what happens with this is it adheres to your scalp, like hair, and then you “sculpt” it to blend with your normal hair, so it gives volume to thinning areas.

I think using something like this, in conjunction with essential oils and supplements, is a winning recipe for many women with hair loss.

  4. Very easy to read and thorough in my opinion. They you presented the Infinity Hair review is quite fair with both pros and cons.

I also think that its not too ‘salesy’ (if there is such a word.. ha ha) and just right on the sweet spot. The fact that you mentioned that it could be a temporary solution attracted my attention.

I always thought that people will look for this product only because they have a permanent problem and I think they are better seeking more permanent solutions.

Its cool that that women especially can have back their femininity during times when they are not in their full capacity because of motherhood and cancer.

I believe your content is quite inspiring and the engagement you have with your audience is very well communicated. Great work and definitely one of the inspiring website out there for a newbie like me 🙂

  5. Great post! seems like a great product with many cosmetic benefits. Its very affordable too!

I will share it on Google + for more people to see, I think you deserve so much more credit for your reviews:)

  6. It’s the very first time I have ever heard of Infinity Hair. My brother has been fighting the hair loss problem for years. I’ve tried to help him so I have been researching the hair loss products an but I’ve never found anything like this. For his last birthday I even bought him a laser comb – but the therapy takes so long for results. Thank you for sharing this article! I think I’ll try this product!

    • Thank you for the comment, and for passing along the info to your brother. He will probably love the new look in time for the holidays!

  7. Just the name “Infinity” gives me hope that by using the product, I will have infinite hair growth. LOL. No seriously, I have a bald spot in the middle of my head that really bothers me. I’m going to make use of this product.

    • Yeah, this product is perfect for bald spot touch up, really. It provides texture and coverage which is all we need – especially from a distance. I hope it matches well with your hair and COME BACK and let us know how it worked for you!

  8. Thank you for this review! I have NEVER heard of a product like this prior to coming to your site!

Question… Can you brush your hair with these fibers in place or will it make them fall out?

Thanks again! Looking forward to your response!

  9. I totally agree with what your have written in this article as I have used infinity hair and nanogen Fiber as well and from my personal experience I am totally convinced with the results. Great product…

  10. Sounds like a great and easy solution for treating hair loss! It’s also a bonus that it’s safe.

I’m sure many people with hair loss will find this extremely helpful! Fantastic article as always.

    • Hi Shalisha – Infinity Hair is a cosmetic, physical solution that gives the illusion that you have more hair. It’s physical fibers you use to fill in your thinning and bald spots. Rogaine is a topical treatment you use over time to slowly regrow your own hair. Hair restoration is generally a surgical treatment that’s extremely risky, time-consuming, and expensive. This side does not advocate for hair plugs or hair restoration surgery.

  11. Hell yeah! I can finally prank my mates and dye there hair pink or something, very useful for events and festivals! I think the infinity hair dye will be a great product for people looking to temporarily change there hair colour! I’ll think about getting some:)

    • thanks for the comment! I agree, this definitely has applications for people looking for a change and not just a bald-spot filler!

  12. Wow, I clicked on this post thinking it was something totally different. Putting 3-D hair fibers on your scalp that sounded strange, you are right? But the fact that it doesn’t cause adverse reactions like other products peaked my interest. I don’t have a sweaty head, nor do I dye my hair so I might be able to pull this off. I will keep this in mind for the future. Thanks again for the great review!

    • Yea, it’s definitely an odd concept but it makes sense when you watch the videos on their website. For some people, who don’t have time to wait around to grow hair, or their follicles are dead, this is a great wig-free solution.

  13. wow, really great products. I know a lot of people who are using these hair fiber. Very instant fuller results with having any damaging chemicals in it. Super great product which adds up your beauty…

    • Thanks for reading – and yes, these fibers are pretty incredible. I appreciate the creativity that went into developing this cosmetic hair loss solution.

  14. Hello!
I’m amazed…I had never heard of infinity hair.?
But after reading more about it sounds like a great product!
Looking at the ingredients it has, since I can recognize them all reassures me it won’t have weird side effects.
I have a bald spot on the back of my head, when I tie my hair up its visible….maybe I should give this a try!
    Thank you Penelope!

    • Thanks for reading, Annette! I’m with you there, I think this product is fascinating and seems TOTALLY worth it just to cover up situations like yours, one pesky bald spot. If you try it, come back and let us know how it works.

  15. Thanks once again for a very thorough review of a hair care product. It’s amazing that you can put this in your hair and don’t need to wash it out and it will keep your hairstyle. Seems to have a number of uses besides helping with hair loss.

    • Right? I think this stuff is pretty incredible, especially for those who have experienced long-term hair loss and who have slim prospects for regrowing.
